Computer Profile

RULES OF PARTICIPATION

If you have come to this section, it means that you have already familiarised yourself with the Olympiad profiles and have chosen a computer profile to take part in the Olympiad.

CONGRATULATIONS!   WELCOME TO OUR COMMUNITY!

Below we will explain the rules of participation.

The first thing you need to do now is to register.

Registration is open to students in grades 9, 10 and 11. You can find the registration form on the main page of the portal. In the registration form, be sure to include your subject teacher and school number.

The Olympiad organisers will register the student, his/her teachers and the school he/she attends.

The certificate of the Olympiad participant and the diplomas of the Olympiad winners will include the name of the student, the names of the teachers and the school number.

Principals/teachers should note that any school can be registered as a Regional Centre of the Olympiad. No financial investment is required from the school. The only condition to become an Olympiad partner is the participation of at least five students.

The Olympiad of each profile is organised in two stages - Qualification and Competition. In the first stage, the Olympiad takes place online. In the second stage, it takes the form of proctoring: participants gather in a room and work simultaneously online, under the guidance of teachers and in the presence of video cameras.   The first stage lasts 30 days, during which students can participate in the Olympiad. The tasks in the Olympiad are not repeated. Each time, the server programme randomly selects the tasks. The results of the answers are immediately sent to the Olympiad participant. And the number of points is known only after the Olympiad is over and the programme calculates the performance of each participant. The scoring formula is entered into the Olympiad computer programme and is based on the comparative scores of the student's successful answers.

REGISTRATION FEES FOR PARTICIPATION

Registration Fee: Students pay a registration fee of $20. The fee is waived for students with severe physical disabilities and for students whose parents have died in the line of duty.
