The Organising Committee informs the participants of the Olympiad that scholarships to study at the partner universities of the Olympiad, as well as cash grants and gifts, will be awarded to the winners and laureates.
The purpose of these scholarships is to provide talented and gifted students with a high quality education at leading universities in Asia and Europe. This approach will ensure that this category of young people will eventually develop into highly qualified professionals, ensuring their successful career development and the opportunity to realise their potential for the benefit of their country.
Scholarships are awarded to those who have excelled in Olympiad examinations in various subjects. Olympiad winners and laureates will receive the following awards from our partners - leading universities in China, South Korea, Singapore, Turkey, Europe and the USA:
Universities of different countries - partners of the Olympiad - have allocated more than four hundred scholarships, grants and prizes for the winners and laureates of the Olympiad. Scholarships and grants will be awarded if the Olympiad winner enrols in the specified faculty, in the specified specialisation, at the university that has allocated these scholarships.
The winner of the Olympiad submits to the university the diploma of the winner of the Olympiad, the scholarship certificate issued by the Organising Committee of the Olympiad, the secondary school leaving certificate, the school transcript with grades, a copy of the passport. It should be noted that the diploma of the winner does not exempt from the entrance examinations.
Diplomas of the 1st degree will be awarded to the 30 participants who have obtained the maximum number of points, diplomas of the 2nd degree will be awarded to the next 30 participants and diplomas of the 3rd degree will be awarded to the next 30 participants. This distribution is valid for all 9th, 10th and 11th grades, and accordingly for the profiles of the Olympiad. Thus, the total number of laureates will be 450.
Once the results have been collated, the lists of winners and laureates will be published on the Olympiad website.
The winners of the Olympiad are the contestants who took the first places. The second and third runners-up are considered the laureates of the Olympiad.
Grade 11 students who receive a diploma are eligible for scholarships from leading universities and other donor organisations. The value of the scholarships and the amounts awarded depend on the level of the diplomas obtained. Specific information about the scholarships and the universities and foundations that awarded them can be found in each Olympiad profile.
Students in Years 10 and 9 who have been awarded First Level Diplomas will receive 2-3 week vouchers for international summer language camps, including those in England, Germany, Turkey, the Czech Republic, Malta and other countries. Holders of 2nd and 3rd Level Diplomas receive grants to pay for annual online distance learning courses in school subjects in preparation for university entrance exams. The distance learning courses are usually organised by the universities themselves from among the Olympiad's partners.
There are also gifts for both the winners and the most active participants in the form of computers, tablets and headphones. All this is described in detail in each Olympiad profile.
